The Holly Springs Farmer's Market opened this weekend. We look forward to going every week and checking out the produce and other good stuff. This week, we bought some great homemade BBQ sauce; and some almond meringues. The produce was mostly strawberries and onions. Jacob also got his cookie from Ms. Lonnie.
After the Farmer's Market (and after I spilled an entire cup of hot coffee in my car - eek!!), we went to Vaughn's Farms to pick strawberries. We had a great time! Jacob really enjoyed himself. We got 5 lbs of berries for $9.25!
Later on Saturday, we went to a neighborhood block party with lots of other families with kids Jacob's age. We enjoyed meeting new neighbors and hanging out with the ones we knew already.
On Sunday, I took Jacob to Pullen Park in Raleigh, which is a city park that has a 1900 carosel, small boats, a train, a lake, and a playground. It's a popular spot in nice weather!
Now, I don't want to jinx ourselves, but we are starting Week 2 of the Potty Chart. So far, Jacob is doing pretty well with that! 18 stickers in the first 4 days; and about 14 in the last 3 days.
And, without further delay - recent pictures!! HERE
