August 1 has finally arrived. One year ago today, we were overjoyed to have a 6 lb. 9 oz., 19.75 inch baby boy, and unsure what the future would hold. We are blessed!

Happy Birthday Jacob! I just accidentally came across your blog. My son W. was also born with a hole in his heart and had his arterial switch operation when he was 5 days old. He is now 9 and doing great! I hope this helps you feel a little better. I know about your worry!
